Truly a Pasadena Community effort.

The book, “Pasadena Oaks” is an artistic rendition of the oak trees of Pasadena, their stories, and the people who care for these oaks.

The City of Pasadena rallied to share their deep love of the trees and in this book you will see magnificent paintings in the style of Jennifer Bentson. The limbs of the oak trees cradle the community, as if to say, I am nurturing you. The ecology of the Oak tree is delicate yet resilient as told by the story of Frank’s Family Tree. We are so very lucky to have such a great resource of trees.

Pre-Order your book and pick it up at the Oak Tree Tea, on June 11, 2016, from 3PM to 6PM at Dabney Hall, Caltech. While you are there see the original paintings of Jennifer Bentson. Sip some tea, listen to poetry with musical accompaniment, and hear soft classical guitar music. It is all free. Even the parking.
